“create a survey for students in a middle school strength and conditioning class that is set up to export to a google form that allows them to review the course”
Teacher Guide & Tips
- Use this as an end-of-semester reflection, either in class on a laptop or tablet, or as a take-home form students complete before the final class.
- Discussion question to pair with the results: which workouts did you find most useful for building your strength or endurance, and why?
- Scaffold for students who find open-ended questions difficult: offer sentence starters such as "One thing I'd keep is..." or "One thing I'd change is..." and allow short bullet responses.
- Extension for advanced students: have them review the anonymized class results and write a short memo suggesting two concrete program changes, citing specific survey data.
- Plan roughly 10 to 15 minutes for completion and a few minutes of setup in Google Forms by following the question type labels in order.
