“create a checklist for students to check off for the following activities "create an image of 3 stations students have to get through in order to receive a prize of a candy, pencil, and sticker. Station one is a halloween paper maze, station two is a halloween spooky mini workout, station 3 is a cup pong challenge (they have to make it into 3 cups). there will be a table for each activity. the last table is the prize table "”
Teacher Guide & Tips
- Post the checklist at the start of the rotation so students can track their progress, and walk through the three stations together before they begin.
- Discussion question: Which station was the hardest to finish, and what strategy helped you keep going? Ask students to explain how checking off each box helped them remember their steps.
- Scaffold for struggling readers: Pair them with a buddy, read the station directions aloud, or use picture cues next to each station name so they can follow along without relying on text alone.
- Extension for advanced students: Have them write one sentence describing each station's challenge or create a new spooky station of their own.
- Plan roughly 5 minutes per station plus a few minutes at the prize table, so the full rotation takes about 20 to 30 minutes for a small group.
