“Create 2 weeks of daily bell ringer activities for 7th grade ELA students with the objective being: Students will be able to distinguish between simple, compound, and complex sentences. students will be able to write clear simple, compound, and complex sentences. Students already know what clauses, subordinate clauses, and main/independent claauses are. They will need to know what coordinating conjunctions are (but should only need a brief review). Create 10 days of work and ensure that each day's work only requires about 5 minutes to complete. Additionally, build in practice for students to 'dress up' simple sentences to become complex sentences using subordinate clauses. For day 5, provide a quick, 5 question multiple choice "quiz" assignment and for day 10, do the same thing. Provide an answer key for the teacher as well”
