Multiplication Facts 0-10 Timed Drill
A one-page timed drill of 50 mixed multiplication problems covering facts from 0 through 10, presented out of sequence so students must recall each fact rather than rely on pattern. It builds fluency and speed with basic multiplication facts for 4th graders and works well as a quick 5-minute warm-up or fact check.

Teacher Guide & Tips
- Use as a 5-minute warm-up or exit check after you have taught multiplication facts, and have students record their start and finish times to track growth across repeated attempts.
- Discussion question: Which facts felt automatic, and which made you pause, and what strategies (skip counting, doubling, known facts) could help with the harder ones?
- Scaffold for struggling readers or students still building recall: allow a multiplication chart or number line, or shorten the drill to the 0-5 facts first and add the 6-10 facts once those feel secure.
- Extension for advanced students: have them find the fastest way to solve the 6-9 and 7-8 facts, or create their own mixed drill using division or two-digit-by-one-digit problems.
- Estimated time: about 5 minutes for the full drill, plus a brief minute to review patterns and discuss strategies afterward.
