Multiplication and Division Review Slides for Third Grade
A slide deck of about a dozen slides that reviews multiplication and division facts and strategies for 3rd graders, opening with a mental math warm-up and moving through practice problems. It builds fact fluency, inverse-operation thinking, and word-problem reasoning, and includes speaker notes to guide each slide. It works well as a whole-class review before a unit assessment.

Teacher Guide & Tips
- Use the deck as a 20-30 minute whole-class review in the days leading up to your multiplication and division assessment, moving through the hook, teaching, and practice phases in order.
- Discussion question: How can knowing 4 × 5 = 20 help you find 20 ÷ 5 or 20 ÷ 4? Have students explain the inverse relationship in their own words.
- Scaffold for struggling readers: Pair students with a multiplication chart or number line on their desks, and read the speaker notes aloud so they can focus on the math rather than the text.
- Extension for advanced students: Ask them to create a missing-number problem of their own, like 36 = ? × 4, and trade with a partner to solve.
- Estimated time: About 5 minutes for the warm-up and 15-20 minutes for the remaining slides, leaving a few minutes for questions at the end.
